Who is responsible

What this site collects

terjehystad.com does not sell anything. It has no shopping cart, no accounts and no login. The only personal data it collects is an email address you enter yourself, if you ask to be notified about new books.

If you sign up, we store:

• your email address
• the date and time you gave your consent, and a record that you gave it
• the language you signed up in

Why, and on what basis

We use your email address for one purpose: to tell you when a new book is available. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Giving it is voluntary, and nothing on this site is withheld if you don't.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe. Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. We keep a record that consent was given and later withdrawn, because we are required to be able to document it.

Who else processes it

• Supabase — database and servers, located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU)
• Resend — sends the emails
• Hostinger — web hosting

Each processes the data on our instructions only. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies

terjehystad.com does not set cookies. It has no login, no shopping cart, and no analytics. The password protection during pre-launch is enforced by HTTP Basic authentication, which stores credentials in your browser but does not use cookies.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to terje@potensiale.no.

If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no).

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
